Qualifications & Schedule

To participate in Heartland IGNITE, agents must meet the following requirements:

  • Cover travel expenses to and from Blue Springs, MO
  • Be AHIP certified
  • Hold an active health license in:
    • Your resident state, Georgia, Texas
    • Or any of the following states: Arizona, Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina
  • Be contracted and Ready-to-Sell under Heartland Financial Group with:
    • Aetna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare (UHC)
  • Laptop or tablet to bring to training

NOTE: If you have not yet completed any of these requirements, please prioritize them immediately to ensure you can fully participate in the training.

Days 1–3: Focused, in-person training led by our sales leadership and training team. You’ll master the fundamentals, learn proven strategies, and build the confidence you need to succeed.

Days 4–5: Put your training into action! You’ll begin live selling over the phone with hands-on support from our leaders and team members right there with you.

Our Goal for You: Every agent will leave the program having written at least one application or, at a minimum, with the confidence and understanding to begin selling consistently.
