1994

Establishment

Founded in 1994 by two agents in Independence, Missouri operating in a small garage.

1996

First Major Expansion

Relocated to 10,000 square foot facility in Lee's Summit, Missouri, expanding to 8 full-time employees with more than 50 sales agents

1999

Multi-State Growth & Strategic Acquisition

Achieved $6 million in annual premium with more than 200 agents spanning 4 states; and acquired a Successful Sales System that added 6,000 additional agents to our distribution footprint.

2004

Long-Term Care Insurance Leadership

Heartland hit a major milestone reaching $12 million in total sales; becoming a leading Long-Term Care Insurance distributor with over $7 million in sales.

2005

New Corporate Headquarters

Moved to current headquarters in Blue Springs, Missouri - a 60,000 square foot facility.

2016

Distribution Network Expansion

Continued expansion of our distribution footprint through acquisition of Unique Writers and One Life America.

2022

Partnership with Integrity Marketing Group

Heartland Financial Group was acquired by Integrity Marketing Group.

2024

Technology-Driven Growth

Heartland continues to exceed sales expectations with more than 107,000 contracted agents offering nationwide service through enhanced technology platforms and industry-leading support systems.
